In May we were to move the gallery. Our residency at Onkel Dannys Plads in the city centre of Copenhagen had come to an end. We had been there for almost six years. A magnificent time that brought us new friends and collaborations.
After a short relocation period we found a new home for the gallery …
But before the move we went on tour with Freedom Tour 2023 stopping in Løkken and Hellum with our sound installation Eavesdrop. With the art work we mimic the way we humans take fragments of information and put them together to create content.
At the end of August the gallery was ready to get placed under a huge tree an in the grass at Energicenter Voldparken. A new residency. A new home. The first move was to start painting the gallery and then prepare for Copenhagen Cultural Night in October. There we, as part of the program Helt usandsynligt i Husum, initiated by Energicenter Voldparken and Husum for alle, was invited to make way finding and sound sculptures as well as presenting a bigger version of Eavesdrop and our fortune telling machine Oracle. It was quite an experience.
Oracle was also with us when we took part in the alternative Christmas market Raw Market at DGI Byen, where we sold handmade shirts’s, talismans and prints.
2023 is now behind us and 2024 is here… and the summer comes early.
