Fun and a bit cold

Spent the Saturday at Cat Eyed People’s Playground with Slot Car Music Part II. Great fun and nice to have the company of Invisible Sounds and Göteborg Art Sounds (GAS festivalen) at Masthuggskajen. The day was rainy, grey and cold. We got stuck in the rain so we were not ready to open until 1 pm (not 12 as planned) but after that the time run by quickly.

People enjoyed having a go at the track and the synthesisers and even though the track was a bit smaller than last time the sound got really great, almost mediative as the strings of the ‘guitar’ was played and the drums drummed on. Everyone was happy including us😀

Slot Car Music Part II

The autumn is here but at Cat Eyed People’s Playground we will try to keep the warm summer-spirit at least until December.  This Saturday we will do a part two with Slot Car Music. At the same time the GAS-festival will present the work Invisible Sounds Anders Hultqvist, Stefan Östersjö and Per Sjösten at Masthuggskajen beside us.

Word Jam

Hectic sumer with exhibition but also the start of our Nordic Culture Point funded pre-project Word Jam. We have had some great meetings in Copenhagen and Oslo and the project is slowly taking form.

In Copenhagen we are looking in to collaboration with Livsbanen an inspiring  organisation that works on a solid and fundamental level with hip hop and inclusion plus being a hub for hip hop production in Brønshøj ,Copenhagen.
In Oslo we have meet with Cafeteatret and Nordic Black Theatre in Oslo and also here are planning a collaboration.
Still have a long list of names that the wonderful people that shall be contacted. So much love from both places❤ and so many great ideas.

To get some extra inspiration we also went to SPKRBOX in Oslo a festival for urban stage art. What a festival! Words can not express the energy that those days and performances gave bot to the soul and body.

So Word Jam is kicking of and in more than one way during the autumn and we are also in the process of applying for funding in order to be able to bring everything to live.

If you want to collaborate or be part of the project, or just wants to know more, drop us a mail and lets see what we can bring about.
