Next week it is time for I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter version 2.0 to occupy Cat Eyed People’s Playground for a couple of weeks.
I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter. is inspired the political parties that are represented in the Swedish parliament and their political programs.
The interactive installation was first presented at Epic Unidragon Galley last summer and was supported by Kulturbryggan Tema2014: Kultur & Politik.

Fun things are being planned … Eclosion is growing, an exhibition is in the pipeline for the new year at ArtMind Gallery in Aarhus Denmark, a public workspace is under construction and I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter is looking for new places to be exhibited. All these projects will be using CoScene – great!

Wow, what an intense summer and autumn (not talking about the weather)! CoScene was used in two works of art, first I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter that was exhibited during the August. Then in September a story based, interactive “puppet” art installation was born, Eclosion as a part of Göteborgs Stadstriennal och Älvornas strand. Eclosion will continue to evolve both story wise and considering the different forms of interaction used, and I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter will be exhibited again during the spring.
We have identified some weak spots in the software that we will continue to work with and also plan how we are going to take the next step … out in the future.
What is more or less confirmed is that CoScene will be used in two new works of art that will be exhibited in December in Gothenburg, Sweden and in the beginning of next year in Aarhus, Denmark.

The first artwork using CoScene will be presented the 7th of August at the Epic Unidragon Game Gallery in Gothenburg.

Så är projektsidan för I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter på plats. Projektet är de första som kommer att använda CoScene för att genomföras. Beta-versionen av programmet har varit klart ett tag nu, men vi jobbar fortfarande med lite buggfixande och hoppas ha en “officiell” version klar under hösten. Just nu ska vi lägga alla tid på den anpassade version som ska användas i den interaktiva installationen.

Now is the project-page for I en demokrati finns det inte plats för idioter up and running. The project is the first to use CoScene in its construction. The Beta-version of the program has been ready for a while now, but we are still fixing some bugs and are hoping to be able to launch a “public” version during the autumn. Right now we will concentrate on the modified version that shall be used in the interactive installation.
