Slot Car Music at Cat Eyed People’s Playground

Vernissage day over – great meetings, talks, loads of laughs and funny sounds. The exhibition will be open for three more weekends and we will try to record both a video and some ‘music’. Until then some pictures from the construction and the ready slot track. The track and the sounds will develop through out the exhibition period.

The exhibition will be open until the 12th of June and the opening hours are: Fridays 4 pm – 8 pm
Saturdays 1 pm – 5 pm
Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm

Changes might occur due to the weather, take a look at or Facebook for updates. If you want to come by at other hours during the exhibition time send us a mail and we will try to find a time that suits you.

Change of date – Vernissage Slot Car Music

Due to problems with the electricity at the gallery we have to postpone the planned vernissage of Slot Car Music on Saturday (21 st) and instead open up the doors the following Saturday, 28 May. The same time and the same place, Cat Eyed People’s Playground at 12 – 4 pm.

Slot Car Music – Vernissage

Next Saturday, 28 May, Cat Eyed People’s Playground will open the doors and present their first playful installation for this season, Slot Car Music. So if you are passing by Gothenburg drop by and have a go at the race track. The opening hours are:

Vernissage 28 May 12 – 4 pm

And then, until 19th of June:
Fridays 4 pm – 8 pm
Saturdays 1 pm – 5 pm
Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm

Slot Car Music – An old fashioned Scalextric racetrack, two cars and a bunch of sounds. Sound art and music in a playful way where the gas handles controls the sounds and the musical expression.

Here we go, after a hard days work the first merged CoScene-page is up and running. All fresh with new information about Cat Eyed People and a handful of projects. The page will continue to grow but this is at least a good start. Enjoy! And feel welcome to get in touch. We would love to cooperate!

Updating

During the following weeks CoScene.org will go through some updates and changes. This is due to us trying to gather our different projects and artwork in one place. During the last year we have created several artworks using the software, CoScene, but also experimenting with other technical solutions and artistic expressions. So instead of being here and there we want to file everything under the heading CoScene. Still using the name primarily for the software but also for all the other collaborative and including projects that are ahead of us. So please have patience, soon everything will be more organised again.
