On the 13th of April at 2pm we open a new exhibition at the gallery – Eavesdrop.
I hear you. You fascinate me. I am obsessed with you. You intrigue me. Your words are my goal. I need to know. Your words tell the story and maybe even the truth. The fragments of a sentence make me believe I comprehend. Words trigger the imagination of a curious mind and a lingering heart.
I eavesdrop.
Eavesdrop is a sound installation where dripping water opens up fragments of conversations that mix with the sound of the water drop hitting the surface.
A work of art that embraces life’s sometimes fragmentary soundscape and where the drop of water is a symbol of the joy and sorrow that life’s stormy dance pulls us into. It is also a comment on a society that houses and sometimes prizes superficial relationships of distance.
