Beats & Ord (Beats & Words) is an interactive installation that is founded in the sound universe of Hip Hop.
The installation invites the visitor to create and explore the music that fills the room in which you are surrounded by signs with words from different hip hop tracks from the eighties and onward. By walking around in the room you can control what beats that are played. The music is written for the occasion, in a tempo that most people can rap, read poetry of sing to.
Beats & Ord was first exhibited in the beginning of 2016 at ArtMind Gallery in Aarhus, Denmark. A video (in danish) can be watched here and here.
