Vernissage 2nd of February 4 pm – 8 pm.

The International Science Festival Gothenburg

Time to start kicking of the spring and summer events. We start of with a special edition of Beats & Ord at Brunnen, as part of the International Science Festival in Gothenburg the 12th, 13th and 14th of May (next weekend).

On the Friday evening we open the exhibition with Beats & Afterword. Saturday morning we begin with buckets of coffee and breakbeats, Breakbeats for Breakfast. Sunday we finish of with Beats outside the Box.

And if that was not enough we also take part in the School Programme with a 90 minutes workshop-version of WordJam.

So we will keep ourselves busy 🙂

Countdown WordJam Göteborg

On Saturday, 11th March, WordJam Göteborg will kick of with two text-focused workshops. Followed by a sound-oriented workshop on Sunday, 12th of March. Once again we are happy to welcome Pelle Møller from Denmark and Per Olav “Skranglebein” Hoff Mydske from Norway as our coaches. Together with Geert “Langemand” Madsen they will guide the participants through the workflow and help them learn and develop creative writing skills and to add sound to the words (lyrics maybe).

WordJam Göteborg will take place at Brunnen, and the events are made possible with support from the City of Gothenburg and our collaboration with Brunnen.

WordJam Gothenburg

Time for round two and WordJam Gothenburg on the 11 – 12th of March at Brunnen. During the Saturday we will host two text-workshops, WordJam Göteborg 1:1 Text and WordJam  Göteborg Text 1:2, and on the Sunday we will dive deeper into texts and also add sound and figure out how to combine your text with beats and music during WordJam Göteborg 2:1 Ljud.

We are happy to once again welcome Pelle Møller, Denmark, and Per “Skranglebein” Olav Hoff Mydske, Norway, as our text-coaches, and very thankful to the City of Gothenburg for making the three jams possible.
