The International Science Festival Gothenburg

Time to start kicking of the spring and summer events. We start of with a special edition of Beats & Ord at Brunnen, as part of the International Science Festival in Gothenburg the 12th, 13th and 14th of May (next weekend).

On the Friday evening we open the exhibition with Beats & Afterword. Saturday morning we begin with buckets of coffee and breakbeats, Breakbeats for Breakfast. Sunday we finish of with Beats outside the Box.

And if that was not enough we also take part in the School Programme with a 90 minutes workshop-version of WordJam.

So we will keep ourselves busy 🙂

Don’t miss! WordJam Norden

On the 11th of February we are guests at Brunnen hosting WordJam Norden – a creative afternoon with words and music. Together with our prominent coaches from Denmark and Norway, Pelle Møller and Per ”Skranglebein”Olav Hoff Mydske, brilliant at freestyle rap and creative juggling with words, we will guide you through a creative workshop putting words together and (if you feel for it) performing them at the end.

Get a teaser at of their skills at Pelle and Skranglebein

Cat Eyed People’s Playground stays in Gothenburg 2017

We are happy to announce that Cat Eyed People’s Playground will be hanging around in Gothenburg at Masthuggskajen during 2017. If it will be for the whole year we do not know yet, but count on us until after the summer.

Due to not knowing we have not been able to plan ahead and right now we are working hard with WordJam Norden that will take place on the 11 of February (next Saturday) at Brunnen close to Masthuggskajen.

With out promising anything we are planning three exhibitions at the Playground between May and October plus at spring opening in March/April. But as soon as everything is set a program will appear here and on Facebook.

Looking forward to many new meetings at Masthuggskajen.

Slot Car Music at Cat Eyed People’s Playground

Vernissage day over – great meetings, talks, loads of laughs and funny sounds. The exhibition will be open for three more weekends and we will try to record both a video and some ‘music’. Until then some pictures from the construction and the ready slot track. The track and the sounds will develop through out the exhibition period.

The exhibition will be open until the 12th of June and the opening hours are:               Fridays 4 pm – 8 pm
Saturdays 1 pm – 5 pm
Sundays 1 pm – 5 pm

Changes might occur due to the weather, take a look at or Facebook for updates. If you want to come by at other hours during the exhibition time send us a mail and we will try to find a time that suits you.

During the following weeks will go through some updates and changes. This is due to us trying to gather our different projects and artwork in one place. During the last year we have created several artworks using the software, CoScene, but also experimenting with other technical solutions and artistic expressions. So instead of being here and there we want to file everything under the heading CoScene. Still using the name primarily for the software but also for all the other collaborative and including projects that are ahead of us. So please have patience, soon everything will be more organised again.
